What Is the Game Basketball Orbit?
Basketball Orbit is a physics-based sports game in which players attempt to shoot longer basketball shots and improve their shooting.
With each successful shot you take, you get one step closer to the basketball games net (the game uses a shooting meter to determine how far away from the basket you are), and each successful shot gets you points that can be put toward improving your overall performance in the game (i.e., you can buy shooting upgrades).
Basketball Orbit Game Play
Basketball Orbit plays well for those brand new to the game (simple one-touch controls) and keeps more seasoned players engaged due to the level of challenge presented in the game.
Time Every Shot Perfectly
The main play involves a running power meter. To shoot, just click the left mouse button or hit the Space Bar when the indicator falls in the power zone for a successful shot.
When you time your shot as close to the green as possible, your basketball will generate the most force and travel the distance it was meant to.
Shorten The Distance To The Rim
You are not going to make it to the basketball net in one throw. As you shoot the basketball, you will move it closer to the basketball net on the map. So with each successful shot, you will shoot the basketball a little farther until you need to shoot the basketball as you get close to the net, which means that you will need to time your shot as accurately as possible to make the final shot.
In the process of getting closer to your target, it is increasingly critical to balance both accuracy and power.
Enhance your Skills
Every successful shot you make will earn you points that can be used to upgrade your player's skills. When you upgrade your abilities, they will help you:
- Increase your shooting strength
- Improve your shooting accuracy
- Allow you to shoot longer distances
- Give you the ability to shoot into a hoop more effectively
When it comes to consistently making progress towards your goals and achieving new distance records, it is important for you to upgrade at the right time and choose the right upgrades.
Push Your Precision
Although the controls are relatively easy to use, consistent success will require you to master the timing of your shots. When you release the basketball at just the right moment, it will travel farther than when you release it very late or very early.
As you improve your ability to make your shots, you will be able to make extremely high-arcing shots that will shoot above the sky and fall toward the hoops.
